I am taking Femara for my 5 year treatment after a double mastectomy from breast cancer.I thought you might be interested to see what our school is doing to help fight breast cancer. We also produce a Resource Directory and post-operative exercise DVD's free of charge to breast cancer sufferers. We are also exploring how all the diverse differentiated cells within a tissue, such as the breast, derive from stem and progenitor cells. There is strong evidence that physical activity protects against cancers including bowel and breast cancer.

Over 1.2 million new cases are diagnosed every year, with half of them occurring in the lung, prostate, breast, colon and rectum. It is a leading centre of knowledge, providing information and support on all aspects of the care and management of breast cancer to women and their families, medical practitioners and researchers. Convincing evidence shows that weight gain and obesity increases the risk of a number of cancers, including bowel and breast cancer. but also those suffering from breast cancer.
